Ideas above my station(?)

I love Bach’s “Brandenburg concerto #3 in G major”. I’d really like to perform it within the context of a rock band (guitars, bass, drums etc) if I could
  1. a) do it justice and
  2. b) if I could do it without being sacrilegious.
